The Impact Award is presented to a business that displays a strong commitment to making East Tennessee a better place to live through the development and support of a community project or program.
grow Knoxville lives by a strong community vision and core values. At the heart of our overall mission is giving back to the community we serve through the support of local impact programs such as the Senior Companion Program, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Wesley House Community Center, The Butterfly Fund, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and Knoxville Habitat for Humanity.
Since opening the doors of the salon in 2015, grow has been proud to be a member of the Knoxville community. Besides providing our clients with amazing skincare, hair design and hair color services, grow’s passion is supporting and promoting all things local. Every product we use and business we support shares the same core beliefs: sustainability, quality, and community. “We created our grow Gives Back program to express our dedication and commitment to serving and enriching the community we live in and do business in,” said grow founder and owner, Shane Archer. “I am honored, blown away actually, to receive this award. It all stems from our name – grow. We not only wanted to grow our brand, our team, and our business, but give back to the community that supports us. We ask all stylists when they come on board to pick a cause that is near and dear to them that we can support in some way. We want our staff to not only grow professionally but personally as well through giving back to the people who give so much to us.
