At grow we believe that each and everyone deserves to look as beautiful on the outside as they feel on the inside. We also think it should be an affordable, luxurious experience that they receive while they are in the salon. The majority of our clientele use the salon time not only as regular beauty maintenance, but also to escape from the world, if even for a moment. At inception, Shane wanted to provide a relaxing, warm, and inviting atmosphere for our guests that make them feel right at home, unlike the mega-salons where they feel like a cog in the machine.
We focus on quality, not quantity, and value each individual guest for who they are as a person, not how much they spend.
We are a green salon, recycling anything and everything down to the hair clippings.
grow is all about promoting what is local. We support Family Tree Candle Company by partnering to come up with a unique scent on the two wick candle we carry. $5 of each candle purchase goes to East TN Children’s Hospital and the Butterfly Fund.
No stranger to Cityview’s “Best Of” list, Shane Archer is a recipient of the Best Stylist” since 2011 and “Best Colorist” since 2010. Shane, a longtime reader favorite, is now getting recognition for not only his personal talents but his salon as well with grow winning the “Best Salon” in Knoxville for 6 years in a row. The salon was also voted “Best Place to Work”. Furthermore, Rachel Archer won “Best Makeup” Artist in Knoxville the past 3 years.
