VOTE FOR SHANE FOR KING OF THE WESLEY HOUSE MASQUERADE BALL!

Our very own Shane Archer has been nominated to run for king of the Wesley House Masquerade Ball. The Ball, held on October 22nd, is an annual fundraiser for the nonprofit. Wesley House serves Knoxville’s most under-resourced and marginalized areas with a focus on the Lonsdale, Beaumont, Mechanicsville and East Knoxville communities. Wesley House Community Center was established in 1907 to provide childcare for the children of the women of Brookside Mills. Since then, the needs have increased in the community, and Wesley House has stepped up to meet the need.

The Wesley House afterschool program serves 10 Knox County schools providing homework assistance, enrichment activities, spiritual support, and so much more. They also offer a program called STEP. STEP is an eight week summer camp for Knox and surrounding counties. They provide breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as educational experiences, spiritual support, math and reading time, and other activities daily during the 8 week summer break.

In addition to the amazing programs offered for children, Wesley House also supports seniors in the community within their WISE program. WISE is a program for senior citizens experiencing social isolation; they provide food, fun and fellowship each Friday for those seniors residing in their community.

For the next seven (7) weeks we will focus all #GrowGivesBack fundraising efforts towards Wesley House’s amazing community programs. We humbly ask for your generous support to help crown Shane King of the Wesley House Masquerade Ball. Proceeds directly support children, families and seniors through all of the wonderful programs mentioned above.  In our tradition of giving back, we would be ever so grateful for your support.  Please use the link below to donate funds.

Wesley House is a 501c3 which means your donations will be tax deductible!
