What We Do

Bridal hair and makeup services are offered at grow. If you’d like the full grow experience in order to see if you think we would be a good fit, we encourage you to set up a consultation.

You can always visit our salon to get a feel for who we are and get a standard cut or color. For our general services, we provide a range of pricing tiers with accomplished styling professionals. Like a spouse, we’re there for you for richer or poorer.

When Shane Archer — the owner of grow — opened his salon, he placed a heavy significance on helping his team achieve a high standard of work by personally training them and expanding their beauty education. This idea of care and diligence sticks with the stylists at grow, who genuinely wish to use their award-winning skill set to bring smiles to brides’ faces upon looking in the mirror on their wedding day.

With hundreds of weddings in our portfolio, we are well-versed in how to apply camera-ready makeup and create lasting upstyles so that your look will not only photograph well, but has the longevity to last the entire day.

Alisa Harmon-Sawyer is our wedding coordinator and salon manager and will work with you to set up your consultations. She is always on top of hair trends and techniques, constantly learning new things by going to classes and seminars. Alisa acts as a makeup artist, stylist, and salon manager at grow. Your wedding day look is safe in her hands.

Using Only the Best

For your big day, we offer the use of L’ANZA hair products. We’ve partnered with them because they share our belief in protecting both hair and the environment. With natural ingredients harvested by locals, L’ANZA products get to the root of hair damage. They employ the Keratin Healing System as the basis for all of their products, so you can be sure that your hair will look and feel as healthy as it ever has on your big day.

We’ve also partnered with Glo Skin Beauty to give you that wedding day glow. Their skincare and makeup are never tested on animals, and they also pride themselves on being talc-free and non-comedogenic. Their smoothing serum minimizes the appearance of fine lines, targets texture concerns, and brightens skin. Whether you want a smokey eye or a neutral vibe, we’ll help craft your dream look with Glo’s vast range of products.

The Bridal Beauty Process

The consultation – This initial meeting exists so that we can understand your vision. We’ll present to you our portfolio, go through who’s hair and makeup we’ll be taking care of on the day of the wedding, discuss pricing, and talk about your personal style. You won’t leave this meeting with any questions unanswered.

The trial – You’ll assess the talent of our beauticians while getting a preview of what you’ll look like on your wedding day. Bring along some looks you’ve pinned on Pinterest or some faves from our portfolio and we’ll create a look that’s uniquely you. Be as clear about what you don’t want as much as what you do, and we’ll work together to see what works and what doesn’t—whether you want your hair down and flowing, classic and elegant, or somewhere in between.

The big day – Your wedding day goes by in a flash, but you’re sure to have fond memories of getting dolled up with your closest friends and family the morning of. The luxurious mezzanine of our salon is available to reserve for bridal parties, but we accommodate with on-location services, as well. We’ll recreate your planned look, make any last-minute adjustments, and assist with touch-ups as needed.
