Reopening Update: Safety Procedures

Thank you so much for your continued patience and your support. We want to welcome all our guests back effective May 1st by reservation only. The new safety protocols are going to require our services to resume differently than we are all used to. We want to outline some of the new safety procedures we, at Grow, have set in place until the end of the pandemic, or further guidance from our local and state health officials.

Upon arrival, guests will be asked to wait in their vehicle and call the front desk before entering. This allows us to remain with our existing guest at a 1:1 ratio and helps us maintain proper social distancing.

Upon entry each guest will be greeted with a digital thermometer scan, be asked to sanitize hands with sanitizer provided or wash hands in our guest bathroom. The guest will then be given a cloth face mask we have sanitized. Masks will be sanitized with UV Sterilizers once they are washed and dried in commercial grade detergents.

During color processing time, with the exception of lightening services (highlights, foils, etc.) guests will be draped in a processing cap and kindly asked to wait in their vehicles or outside. This will allow our busier stylists to see each guest needing to be rescheduled and allow continued social distancing protocols.

We will be disinfecting each styling station and tools between each guest in preparation for each new guest. As always, all capes, towels, etc. will be cleaned and sanitized after each use.

We will be limiting the salon to clients only and will not allow accompanying guests.

We have removed any and all tester stations in the salon as well as the make up area.

Lip waxing will be discontinued until we are instructed we no longer need face masks.

We have an exceptionally strong sanitation protocol already in place by following the TN State Board of Cosmetology regulatory safety requirements; and we have also opened a commercial cleaning account and will use them to clean and spray disinfectant and “green” commercial grade sanitizers while keeping in line with our core principals as a truly Eco friendly salon.

We have installed plexi-glass partitions in locations of the salon where social distancing is not possible.

At this time, we will not be blow drying hair after any color or haircut service. Keratin treatments and extension guests will be the only exception. We fully understand this may not be ideal, but this further helps us minimize the spread of airborne droplets. You will be given the option to receive a complimentary leave in conditioning treatment, or be prepped with styling products or a braid. Please be patient with us during this process. We will re-assess weekly and let you know more information as we receive it.

Gloves will not be permitted inside the salon, NO EXCEPTIONS. We kindly ask that you leave your gloves in the car, and once you enter and sanitize your hands we will gladly provide you with some if requested.

We have also ordered 2 Dyson Air Purifiers which are more than sufficient coverage for the square footage in our salon.

We will be operating at close to full capacity, so if you are uncomfortable keeping your reservation, please call or email us to reschedule. We acknowledge and appreciate all concerns, but our cancellation policy will be in full effect. These reservations are in high demand, please be respectful of your stylist and our other guests!
