2025 Industry Accolades
November 20, 2025, Knoxville, TN: grow Knoxville, a Shane Archer Concept, is happy to share a number of local, state, and national honors they have been awarded recently.
Knoxville’s Cityview Magazine recently revealed their Best of the Best 2025 winners, and grow Knoxville continued its impressive streak with a ten wins, starting with earning Knoxville’s Best Hair Salon award for the tenth consecutive year. The salon was also named the Best Place to Work for businesses with fewer than 50 employees. In the Best Hair Stylist category, grow Knoxville dominated with owner Shane Archer taking the gold award, Rachel Archer-Sigmon, silver, and Domi Gager earning bronze. The salon’s hair coloring expertise was further recognized in a clean sweep, with Jill Evans winning gold, Shane Archer taking silver, and Alex Whitt earning bronze in the Best Hair Colorist category. Alex Whitt was additionally honored with a top gold win in the Best Makeup Artist category, and Rachel Archer-Sigmon took silver.
Shane Archer’s achievements extended beyond the salon, as Stubble – a Shane Archer Concept, was voted Knoxville’s Best Barbershop by Cityview Magazine readers for the third consecutive year. Knoxville’s Top Barber accolades also went to Stubble, with Brent Wilkins winning gold and Zach Norton receiving silver. grow Wellness – a Shane Archer Concept, also received Top 3 wins in Best Spa, Best Hair Removal – Wax, and Best Hair Removal – Laser, categories.
Statewide, grow Knoxville was voted as a Best Salon in the ‘Best of Tennessee 2025’ awards. Touted as an annual round-up of the best products and services you can find across the state, these awards are curated by The Guide to Tennessee and voted on by their readership.
Nationally, grow Knoxville was recently chosen as winner of the L’ANZA Haircare ‘Heart of L’ANZA’ award for upholding L’ANZA’s core values in community service, marketing, and social media. L’ANZA’s professional haircare and color product line is available at top salons nationwide, including grow Knoxville, which is L’ANZA’s top selling salon globally.
Finally, at the Las Vegas Barber Expo held at the end of September, Stubble’s Zach Norton took 2nd place honors in the Traditional Haircut competition – placing higher than hundreds of other participants from all over the country.
